new to architrave p.c., architects
Hello! I’m Olivia and I am going into my senior year at the University of Cincinnati, pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science in Architecture with a minor in Psychology. I’m from a small town in Indiana, about 30 minutes outside of Cincinnati, but have always considered myself a local to the area. I love getting to work with so many UC alum who share the same appreciation for Cincinnati’s charm.
I chose to major in architecture because I have always been fascinated by buildings. I declared a minor in psychology as my knowledge of architecture grew and I discovered an interest in how certain spaces can invoke specific feelings. I believe spaces should be designed catering to those who will inhibit them and hope to be more intentional with this concept within my own creations.
I specifically chose architrave as some of my favorite buildings are the oldest ones. I truly love the level of detail and intricacy found in so many historical buildings and believe historical preservation work is an incredibly respectable way to protect the rich architectural archive of the world we live in. I am learning so much through my internship here and I can’t wait to use all the knowledge I’ve gained as I continue on my career path.
Next Steps: I will be studying abroad in Florence, Italy this coming fall!!
