at architrave p.c., architects August 2023
Raised just south of DC in Charlottesville, VA, my interest in the built environment stems from a deep commitment to community building and challenging the status quo. Architecture is a unique toolkit that enables us to work at the intersection of cultural narratives and material improvements, and I am excited to contribute to architrave’s tradition of thoughtful interventions in the DMV area. I have lived in DC since before Covid, stepping away to the Midwest for my graduate studies, but have enjoyed being back in the District ever since. At architrave, I enjoy pushing beyond the traditional notions of preservation and working in the public interest, exploring ideas of radical hospitality and liberation through architecture. When not at the office, you can find me engaged in DC’s mutual aid community, jamming on trombone, or pestering my cat Charles.
